Downtown Haddonfield Engagement Photos

Meet Anna + Mike! New homeowners in the beautiful borough of Haddon Heights, they knew they had to do some in home photos. Anna wanted to incorporate her love of cooking into their engagement session, and I was on board RIGHT AWAY. Food is the key to my heart, even more when it’s delicious cookies like they made. They knew having part of their session in their first home together was a must. I am soooo in love with this idea and really hope more couples hop on it! Their Downtown Haddonfield engagement photos make my heart flutter.

How They Met

You’lll NEVER guess where these two met. It wasn’t high school, Tinder, a bar, none of that!

Mike was Anna’s gas station attendant!!

For those who have never been to New Jersey, we have people who pump our gas here haha. Anna left her restaurant job one night, and she needed to get some gas on her way home. That’s where Mike met Anna and filled her car up for her. It was a super cold night in January, so Anna offered him the soup she was bringing home. From there, she would visit him at the gas station to talk and flirt, and eventually they realized how many times their paths had crossed before. Mike’s dad and Anna’s best friend’s dad grew up together, so the two of them had been at many family-friend functions, but never met until that night.

In Home Engagement Photos

Now they’ve been together for 7 whole years and it’s their wedding year!! I’m so excited for these two to get married. Based on their engagement session, it’s going to be one beautifully emotional day. They made cookies together in their adorable home, snuggled their kitties, and then showed me around a nearby park. We got real funky with their engagement photos and I even sprinkled in some 35mm film here and there. I’m counting down the actualy days til their June wedding!
