A Mt Washington Mill Dye House Wedding A Mt Washington Mill Dye House wedding typically includes a courtyard ceremony. Unlike some courtyards, this one actually has space for a large guest count of up to 200. It’s also a beautiful place for portraits later in the evening as the lights turn on. With the trees in the background, it feels a little like an enchanted garden. The Mt Washington Mill Dye House has all of the charm of a historic industrial wedding venue without the sterile feeling that some newer ones have. A TWA Hotel Wedding Nineteenth century designer and architect Eero Saarinen designed the TWA Hotel. He’s an icon of modernist aesthetics, and you can see why when you look around this hotel at JFK Airport. Built in the early 1960s, it’s a perfect example of Mid-century Modern architecture. The hotel’s current iteration opened in 2019, but its interior decor leans into that 1960s feeling with attention to every detail. Truly the most perfect June day for the sweetest couple! Everything about their wedding day spoke to a classic, timeless style. We began the day at Ashley's house to capture their getting ready moments, and my second headed off to Chris's parents house! I've found the morning always sets the tone for the day. Ashley and her girls were in such high spirits and so giddy to see their best friend get married. And of course their pu had to join in the fun! She just wanted to be the center of attention, and we were all happy to oblige! Church Ceremony From there, we all made our way to the church for their ceremony! Chris's smile says it all! Seeing his fiance walk down the aisle made him beam and it couldn't have been sweeter. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony surrounded by their friends and family. After the ceremony, their pup made an appearance for some photos! She got to hang with the wedding party and made the cutest addition! The weather sure played in our favor and made every location the perfect spot for photos! Reception at Rock Island Lake Club With the festivites in full swing, we headed to the venue to finish up alllll their portraits! The wedding party was so much fun to photograph! They were planning their Baltimore Museum of Art wedding for the following spring and couldn't wait to have all their families meet for their special day. Unfortunately, the pandemic threw a wrench in ALL their wedding plans. They psotponed their wedding to May of 2022 and they finally got to have their celebration at Gertrude's Restaurant in the art museum! One of the most important aspects of their wedding is all their family being able to attend. Jurgen is from the Netherlands, so all his family had plans to fly in for the wedding. Once pandemic lockdowns and flight restrictions took effect, they could no longer attend. I know that played a huge role in their postponement, and I'm so happy they were all able to gather to see Jurgen marry Carolyn. The day began in Towson at the cutest little AirBnb! Carolyn got ready with her mom, Jurgen's sister, and nieces. Her mom and dad picked up the florals from the florist across the street and they were just so beautiful! They wanted a photo of their invitation suite, which also had the cutest little surprise message in it! They had given those to their parents and immediate families, and planned to announce to everyone at the reception. This area is really special to Sarah and Elias, so they knew Lambertville engagement photos were exactly what they wanted! A few years ago, they met at a local bar they both worked at in Boston. Sarah was doing an internship at a hospital and Elias was finishing undergrad at Newbury College. They're both from the same hometown in New Jersey, so for them to both leave the state and meet is fate. Unfortunately, Casey and Ben had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding when the pandemic hit. It's the first true sign of spring! Cherry blossom engagement photos are super popular during this time, which I can't blame people at all! It's truly magical to see the DC cherry blossoms in peak bloom as they decorate the entire Tidal Basin. I was lucky enough to finally experience the DC cherry blossoms in peak bloom for Lauren and Dan! The moment they booked, they already knew cherry blossom engagement photos were exactly what they wanted. A few years ago, they visited the Cherry Blossom Festival and fell in love with it. They met online and they truly think fate brought them together. Their proposal took place on Cadillac Mountain in Maine! Ray and Hannah took a last minute trip there after another trip was cancelled. Because Hannah always wanted to see the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, they decided to head up there one morning, and Ray asked her to marry him there.
