Ashland Nature Center Engagement Photos

Ohhhh boy, this is a good one guys. We’ve got a new location, dogs, ioncredible golden light, and one stunning, fun couple for rtoday’s blog post. I met Dani and Wes in Hockessin for their Ashland Nature Center engagement photos and was SO excited! I’ve never been here before, but I did a little scouting before they got there and I quickly fell in love with the area. We had a perfectly golden evening for their engagement photos and I couldn’t wait to get started!

Dani and Wes originally had plans for a big wedding in Southern Delaware. When they reached out to me, I wasn’t able to accomodate their wedding day with my schedule. However, they ended up ditching their big wedding and settling on an intimate wedding at Promise Ridge! With their new date, I was able to be there! They knew a big day wasn’t for them, they simply wanted to enjoy an evening with their closest family and friends without the extra fuss.

First, they brought their sweet pups who I am in loooove with! They were the best pups for their pictures and I know they will be cherished forever. All my fellow pup parents know what’s up.

Their sweet friends took the pups home once we had plenty of photographs with them in it! Then we set out into Ashland Nature Center and soaked up all the golden light spilling into the hills. Dani and Wes are SO dang cute together! They really bring out the best in each other. They actually met at a country concert a few years ago, and since then, they’ve built a life they love together.

I’m soooo excited for their microwedding, I know it’s going to be the sweetest evening. Counting down the days!
