Believe it or not, I first met CJ and Nina at a bar for trivia night. We were talking about their engagement and somehow we got onto photography. CJ is a photographer too, so it was so nice to be able to chat with him about something we are both passionate about. Before you know it, we were planning their engagement/wedding session! We actually did two sessions for them. One was a laid back adventure around Killens Pond State Park with their sweet pitbull and one of their best friends. Then we did this engagement session at Brecknock Park in their wedding attire, and it’s just too sweet!

They planned a small wedding with their closest family and friends, and just wanted a fun couples session to commemorate their new lives as Mr. and Mrs. I love these sweet and simple photographs of the new, happy couple. Sometimes less is more, which I think perfectly fits them. You don’t always need a huge, extravagant wedding to declare your love for one another. You just need to be surrounded by your closest friends and have a party!
