Nova and Dave – where do I even begin? From the moment I met these two I was so thankful I was chosen to document their love story. Their love for each other is an absolutely incredible fairytale type of love. Being in a room with them honestly felt like sunshine and I wouldn’t have traded being there to photograph their wedding for anything. Their The Gables at Chadds Ford wedding was a dream come true after making the tough choice to reschedule.

Originally, Nova and Dave were planning their wedding for 2020, but with the pandemic, the party moved to 2021. When talking with Nova about her vision for her photos, she said she wanted fleeting, intimate moments captured. To no surprise, their wedding day was FULL of sweet moments! One of my favorite moments to capture was their private love letter reading to one another. It was one of the most intimate and special moments of the entire day.

SUMMER WEDDING AT THE GABLES AT CHADDS FORD

Nova and Dave chose their venue to be the Gables at Chadds Ford. There was so much thought and detail that went into their wedding day and it was so incredible to capture all of those special details. Their wedding really truly was a dream. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when Nova was walked down the aisle by both of her sweet parents. I cried, Dave cried, we honestly all cried. A super sweet element to their wedding was including Dave’s family in Columbia via Facetime, who couldn’t be there due to the pandemic.

Truthfully, I could go on and on about how much I love this couple. I’ll leave it at this, photographing the love between Nova and Dave was one of my greatest honors. Their love story is literally a whimsical fairytale and I feel so honored to have been there to experience a love like theirs.
