Holly and JR’s Sam Yoder Farm wedding is one of my first weddings of the season. If every wedding is going to be as amazing as this one, then I cannot wait for the rest of the year! They met in 9th grade, and I’m sure they didn’t know they’d meet their forever at that age. Holly admits she wasn’t sure about this class clown, but eventually she gave him a chance, and the rest is history!
Holly is a big nature lover, and loves to photograph it, too! I knew we would get along so well. JR took her to Assateague Island in Maryland to propose to her among the wild ponies. I adore this proposal story, it’s one of the prettiest places on earth and a unique spot to pop the big question. It’s simple, yet so perfect! Actually, their wedding is only a few days shy of their TEN year anniversary! Now they have two dates to celebrate, all in one week.
Holly’s vision is a simple, greenery filled wedding with their closest friends and family. It could not have turned out better. I remember when we sat down to go over details and Holly confessed she was ready for it to be over. Well, she didn’t seem that way the day of! We had the best weather possible and we got to enjoy a soft lit sunset in the evening, complete with cows!!
JR’s gift to Holly, a Harper Grayce Sign for their new home! It’s going to look so pretty hung up!
The girls were ready to party! It made for some great laughs as we did Holly’s bridals.
How stinkin’ cute are they?!
Yay!! Mr. + Mrs. Mears!!
I’m so glad they included their cute pups, Copper and Camo. They were the bestest dogs and stole the whole show.
Holly’s favorite spot at Sam Yoder Farm is a tucked away trail encased by lush trees. It’s so beautiful and is perfect for bride and groom portraits!
Such a sweet, sentimental keepsake for JR!
Time for the first dance!
How cute is this guy? I like to think he was here to party with us.
We headed out for sunset portraits, and were greeted by cows! We all couldn’t help but swoon over the cute babies. They just want to know what we are up to!
Congratulations Holly + JR! Cheers to the Mears, indeed!
