SPERLAK SCULPTURE GARDEN MICROWEDDING, CAPE MAY, NJ

Alex and Joe’s Sperlak Sculpture Garden microwedding is possibly one of the coolest weddings of all time! When I spoke with Alex for the first time and heard about their microwedding plans, I had to google the location immediately. I never knew about this hidden gem in Goshen by artist Stan Sperlak. The grounds are absolutely stunning with views of his work and marshland!

Microweddings have become a love of mine since the pandemic first hit. They are scaled down weddings with a more intimate guest list and focus more on the couple and what they want. If you know me, you know that’s something I LOVE with all my heart. Alex and Joe really had the best intimate wedding and the most beautiful September evening for it. Cape May is a gorgeous town to get married in, and even better when it’s at a sculpture garden.

Alex’s relatives helped design the thrifted and eclectic tablescapes, even down to the flowers! I love the funky mismatched vibe and so did all their guests. I was so excited to work with Bad Cat Farm again, her floral creations are impeccable! She made Alex the most luscious bouquet of blooms, including the cutest sprig of green tomatoes! It paired well with Alex’s tomato tattoo (and y’know, NJ tomatoes are unmatched).

I couldn’t adore this day more if I tried. Everything about it felt warm and cozy, and everyone was elated for Alex and Joe. Check out some favorites from their Sperlak Sculpture Garden microwedding!
