As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen a lot of themes and color schemes. Brandi and Josh realized their vision perfectly. Their wedding decor in every shade of pink created a festive, energetic atmosphere for their celebration. They elevated their venue and created an unforgettable party by weaving in their theme down to the last detail.
The Barn at Stoneybrooke is a classic barn wedding venue with beautiful grounds. Ceremonies take place outdoors overlooking meadows and a valley. Receptions take place in a spacious barn. With capacity for up to 200 people, you can easily fit all your family and friends for a fun night of dining and dancing.
This Pennsylvania wedding venue has a rustic aesthetic, but you can really make it your own with your choice of wedding decor. You could enhance the garden atmosphere with lots of lavender and soft colors. You could also go for a more modern approach with vibrant floral installations and clean lines.
The Barn at Stoneybrooke is located about fifteen minutes West of Coatesville, PA. It’s far enough outside any cities that you get to enjoy the Southeastern Pennsylvania landscape at its best any time of year. Brandi and Josh had a spring wedding, but this venue is beautiful in summer and fall too.
Wedding packages at the Barn at Stoneybrooke range between $8,000 and $8,500. That includes twelve hours from set up to reception exit. This venue provides a lot of basics, such as tables and chairs, so you don’t have to coordinate with a lot of rentals. Brandi and Josh’s wedding proved that you don’t need to have an elaborate lounge set up if you have a bumping dance floor.
I’ve been lucky to photograph weddings at the Barn at Stoneybrooke multiple times. You can check out another colorful wedding at this venue here.
Brandi and Josh’s wedding decor was FULL of color. Everything came in shades of pink ranging from hot pink to pale blush. It felt very of the moment with Barbiecore trending. The details were bold and playful. They set a fun tone for the reception.
Instead of a typical seating chart, Brandi and Josh set out white vases with table numbers painted in hot pink on the sides. The shade matched the roses and carnations. Brandi told me early in the wedding planning process that she wanted to go big on florals. They really did! I’m obsessed with the funky pink creations that The Stem’s End made for this wedding.
Even the cake had pops of pink with little pup cake toppers. Even though the Barn at Stoneybrooke has a rustic aesthetic, Brandi and Josh’s wedding decor elevated it so it didn’t even feel like a barn wedding venue.
To keep the pink theme going, Brandi’s wedding party wore mismatched outfits in every shade of pink. They looked incredible with everyone cohesive yet wearing something uniquely them. I love when even wedding parties get to be themselves like that. Brandi fit right in with the hot pink Louboutins that she wore with her reception dress. I will never get over those shoes!
With such a well-curated wedding design, it was no surprise that Brandi and Josh were incredibly thoughtful on their wedding day. That morning it poured rain. Luckily, everyone kept calm and the weather turned out to be gorgeous.
While we waited for the weather to clear, Brandi and Josh got ready in the on-site suites. We got the first glimpse of the Barbiecore-inspired wedding decor with their invitation suite and Brandi’s wedding party’s hot pink pajamas. Josh and Brandi exchanged gifts and emotional letters before their first look.
Like I mentioned, Josh and Brandi’s bright pink wedding decor set the tone for an energetic party at their reception. Brandi and Josh couldn’t stop grinning during their first dance. Once the DJ got started, the dance floor filled up with friends and family excited to celebrate.
