It’s always a pleasure photographing the Calvert family. Their woodland family session is one of my favorite family sessions from this year. It’s full of whimsy and beautiful sunlight.

I love this little family and their quirky daughter, who will be welcoming a little brother or sister just before the new year. I’m not sure if little Scarlett realizes how lucky she is to have such a loving mama + papa bear. The photograph of the three of them hugging sticks in my mind whenever I think about true love within a family. Even though Scarlett may test them daily with her strong will and courage, I know they adore her for those traits and every fiber of her being.

And I mean, come on. Look at that angel face! Her outfit is better than how I dress at the age of 24. I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to their family later this year!
