This is the second session I’ve done with this fellow military family. We used to be neighbors when Josh and I lived on base! We share a love Rae Dunn and would keep an eye out for each other, and then leave the goodies on each other’s doorsteps! Their first session in the summer was lovely, but Bryleigh wasn’t feeling it. So their Abbott’s Mill family session is a big jump from that!

Bryleigh did not want to smile the first time I photographed them. This session is polar opposite of that! She is nothing but smiles in every image and I love it. The weather and the sun were on another level. I mean, look at how bright and golden it was! I’m a firm believer that the light changes daily and this was otherworldly. I’ll happily take golden light like this every day.
