I first met Liz + Brian for coffee on warm summer day. I think we talked for a few hours, because it went from wedding visions to dog love preeeetty quickly! Getting to know clients beforehand is one of my favorite things about this career. I got so excited when they told me they wanted me to join them on their wedding day! Eeeek! Their June wedding this year at Perona Farms is shaping up to be quite the celebration! But first, we had their Allaire State Park engagement session and it was peeeeerfect!

I won’t lie to you, I rolled up to this session feeling so confident and excited. They were bringing their new pup, Cora, and the weather cooperated with some dreamy overcast. To my surprise, I left my entire book of memory cards on the coffee table at my in-laws house. Yup. I’ve never done this in my entire liiife, but alas, we all make mistakes. I’m only human and I think I had a decent streak for several years. However, thankfully I had a few stored away in my glove box and the show went on without issue!

I love love love shooting with Liz and Brian! They’re so easy going and totally down to have fun. They were on board with all my suggestions and even had a few of their own, which makes me one happy photographer! Even Cora, who is basically a real life teddy bear, showed off her moves. Seriously, how can you resist that sweet face?

Their love is evident in the way they laugh and look at each other. Not to mention, they are SO excited to be getting married! They beam when they talk about becoming Mr. + Mrs. which makes my heart so happy for them! Their Allaire State Park engagement was a perfect day altogether and I cannot wait for June!
