Blogging isn’t always my strong suit. It’s especially difficult to do when your husband is deployed and you are holding down the house for six months (aka making sure it doesn’t burn to the ground and the dogs don’t die). No one tells you how difficult it is to function without your better half. Suddenly, you are in charge of every little thing, and it can take some time to adapt to not having your person around. However, it’s a new year now, my hubs is home, and I’m going to the gym again so I can tackle every session that comes my way this season. So, I’m kicking myself into gear and catching up on all things photography, which includes some seriously amazing sessions!

One of my favorites from the fall is Tara and Chad’s session at Rocks State Park in Maryland. Everything came together perfectly for this session; the weather, the fall colors, the outfits, everything. The only issue? Finding a parking space! I really can’t be too mad about that though, because the whole location thrived with vivid yellows, greens, and oranges. Naturally, everyone gathers for a sight like that. Autumn in Maryland is nothing short of perfection, and I would be totally okay with getting stationed there to soak up all it has to offer. I guess I can settle for driving there, for now.

Aside from that, I love their outfits and just the two of them in general. Tara’s outfits look so stunning on her! When she told me about the coveted lace dress, I did a little happy dance! It’s everything a photographer could wish for in a dress. Even just the way they interacted made my job SO easy. You can always tell when a couple is genuinely in love, and I don’t doubt they are for a second. Overall, I really need more sessions like this, whether they’re for couples, families, or elopements. There’s something extra special about adventure sessions. You not only explore with the one(s) you love, but you have an experience you will never forget.
