Meet Lauren + Pat, two of the kindest humans I’ve grown to know and love. I first met them back in the summer of 2018 (holy smokes, almost two years ago!). We got together for coffee in Medford at the cutest shop and they greeted me with the warmest hugs. We all took our phones out to check the area for PokeStops, and I instantly knew this was the start of something amazing. Not to mention, we all squealed when we saw a rescue greyhound and HAD to give it pats. Now we are in their wedding year and I’m so flippin’ excited for their big day! Back in November, we got together for their Grounds for Sculpture engagement session and I’m in loooooove.
First of all, I highly recommend everyone visit this spot at least once in your life. It’s located in Hamilton, NJ and is so incredibly beautiful. There’s art at every turn, and you’ll even be fooled by some of the super lifelike sculptures. And yes, we played Pokemon Go here together too! We spent hours here together, but it didn’t even feel that long. I gush about my couples, and for good reason.
Lauren and Pat have shown me nothing but kindness and endless support since I first met them. I truly don’t know what I did to deserve such amazing people in my life, but I’m so glad it happened. They’re so in love with each other and compliment each other in the best ways. I was so excited to see they brought their NJ Devils jerseys, and even MORE excited to see Lauren’s said “Mrs. McGill”! That’s the perfect personal touch here, so much so that the NJ Devils tweeted at them for it!
All in all, I’m veerrryyy impatiently waiting for their wedding day at Blue Heron Pines this December. Until then, I’ll live for their Grounds for Sculpture engagement!
