Colby’s due date is just around the corner. I am so excited to see her beautiful baby girl, Olive, and see the smiles on their faces. I met Colby because of the photography world, so I knew her in home maternity session was going to be absolutely perfect. It’s so weird to be on the other side of the camera as a photographer, but let me tell you now that they rocked it.

This is Colby and Joe’s first child. Joe is so in love with Colby and that sweet baby girl and it shows. He’s going to be the best dad and it absolutely warms my heart for Colby. He was dedicated to making Colby smile and was her hype man through and through. It can be hard to undergo a pregnancy and deal with the huge changes your body undergoes. It’s so important to have a partner who makes you feel your best even when you feel like a beached whale (actual words I’ve heard from pregnant friends!).

There are a bunch of photos of Colby’s belly and the jewelry she wears. They were her grandmother’s pieces and they are adorned with beautiful script ‘O’s’. Now she wears them for little Olive, and I absolutely love that detail. Can you tell how much they adore their daughter already?

I’m counting down the final days for these cuties and wishing for a swift and easy delivery for them. It was such a pleasure and honor to document their in home maternity session and gain them as friends. Cannot wait to see baby Olive!!
