I’d like to introduce you to this stunning mama, Deanna! I couldn’t wait for her Marian Coffin Gardens maternity session over the summer. She and her family were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl, and wanted to commemorate this season of life with a maternity session. Having the perfect weather and greenery made this gorgeous mama pop off the page!

Deanna and her son Toby really stole my heart from start to finish. Toby’s curiosity had him running all over the gardens, he is just the sweetest little guy. We were able to coerce him into a photo or two, but for the most part, we just let him do his thing! One thing I always tell my clients is to let the kids be kids. I’d rather they get a chance to explore and do their own thing rather than feel forced into a photograph. When they’re ready, they always come around and are open to it!

Be on the lookout for their newborn session to hit the blog, too! I truly enjoyed getting to photograph this big moment for the Cortez family, and can’t wait to see their family grow!
