Would you believe me if I told you we had to wait out a wicked rain storm before this session? Katie + Zach pulled up to the University of Delaware campus, and the sky just opened up. We sat in our cars for about 15 minutes, hoping the radar was correct and it was on is way out. Thankfully, the skies cleared, and gave way to beautiful sunlight!
Katie and Zach met at the University of Delaware when they were students. Now over 6 years later, they’re planning their wedding at Rosewood Farms! Their engagement photos were their way of “getting comfortable in front of the camera”. Let me tell you, they were so natural and fun to photograph! Their chemistry shined the entire time and I’m so thankful when couples feel relaxed and comfortable with me. I have no doubt their wedding day will be just as effortless.
Not to mention, these two are totally my kind of people. They enjoy the outdoors, wine, and cooking. I follow Katie’s food instagram and am always drooling over the dinners she cooks up. She says she always tries to have dinner ready for when they’re both home. It’s their time to talk about their days to each other and decompress over good food. I’m really excited to be joining them on their wedding day, June can’t come soon enough! Enjoy some of their University of Delaware engagement faves!
