Drew + Sara were having a pretty dang good 2020, even with a pandemic in full swing. They bought a house, adopted a dog, and now they can check off getting engaged too! Drew reached out to me about proposing to Sara outside the house they bought together, which is truly one of the sweetest gestures. Buying a house together is a huge step, and it becomes the place you call home together. What better way to commemorate that than with engagement photos right in your front yard? Drew + Sara’s surprise proposal in Haddonfield is the cutest testament to their future.

I hid behind a tree across the street, which is probably pretty creepy for the neighbors to see. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t check periodically for cops, I really thought someone would end up calling them on me haha! Thankfully that didn’t happen, and I finally spotted Drew and Sara leaving their house. Drew waited until they were just a few feet from their car, got Sara to turn around, and he dropped to one knee to propose. She said and I quote, ” I knew he was acting weird!”

Can you blame the guy?? Proposing to the love of your life is a huge deal, and the nerves are REAL. Drew did a phenomenal job keeping it a secret and coordinating with me! We did a few fun engagement photos around their yard, complete with their sweet rescue pup! I can’t thank them enough for having me photograph this huge moment, I loved it!
