Park Loft is a New Jersey wedding venue that brings together historic architecture and the conveniences of a modern, all-inclusive event venue. A Park Loft wedding is sure to be laid back and elegant. I photographed Kristin and Drew’s summer wedding, and we found endless places to take beautiful wedding photos.
A Park Loft wedding is unique compared to other celebrations in the area. The outdoor space includes a garden with lush greenery. In the summer, it feels like wandering through a modern secret garden.
When you walk inside Park Loft, it’s easy to envision a reception complete with an elegant seated dinner and dancing. That’s because the building was built as a dance hall in the 1940s. The indoor space is complete with vaulted ceilings and a mezzanine that wraps around the main floor. Your guests can enjoy cocktail hour there. Later on, you can pop upstairs for a good view of all your friends having fun on the dance floor.
A Park Loft wedding includes plenty of opportunities for unique photos. Rain or shine, you’ll find a beautiful backdrop for portraits. I love the wallpaper and elegant furniture in the suites. It gives the spaces more personality than your average hotel room. The marble flooring makes it look like you’re in an elegant old private residence instead of an event venue that opened in 2022.
As an all-inclusive wedding venue, Park Loft includes pretty much anything you could need aside from photography, videography, and florals. Here are some of the numbers on a Park Loft wedding.
If you’re looking for a New Jersey wedding venue with easy access to big cities, Park Loft is a good choice. It’s located in the middle of Monmouth County in Oceanport. New York City is just a little over an hour north on the Garden State Parkway. If you have your heart set on beach photos, you can work it into your timeline. Long Branch Beach is just fifteen minutes away.
Kristin and Drew held their Park Loft wedding in June. The gardens looked absolutely stunning. Vines wrapped around the pillars and grew along the trellis over the covered walkways. Some flowers bloomed just in time for the wedding, too.
For their florals, Kristin and Drew chose a white, gold, red, and pink palette. The colors popped against the emerald greens in the garden. Drew also wore a sage suit, which complimented the florals. Matching flowers filled Kristin’s bouquet, the wedding arch, and the sweetheart table. It gave the celebration some visual cohesion even as the guests moved from space to space for different events.
Fresh fruit and oyster shells throughout the reception added to the summery feeling at this Park Loft wedding. Juicy berries garnished the champagne sitting in coupes at the reception. Hand painted oyster shells directed guests to their seats. They brought just the right amount of beachiness without being over the top.
Kristin and Drew got ready in separate suites before meeting for their first look in the garden. From the moment they saw each other, you could tell the day was going to be full of silly smiles and tender words.
Afterward, we took Kristin and Drew’s Park Loft wedding portraits all around the venue. We started outside with the garden providing fun angles and elements to play with. Inside we stopped by the beautiful bar on the mezzanine. Their wedding party had so much fun posing and laughing together.
Kristin and Drew’s ceremony took place on the covered patio. Their sweet ceremony featured a unity cocktail. You can see the cart peeking out from behind their officiant.
After a cocktail hour on the mezzanine, Kristin and Drew’s guests joined them for the reception on the main floor of the dance hall. Their first dance was so lovely. I loved having access to the mezzanine to photograph it from multiple angles. You don’t often get such a full view of a reception hall.
As soon as speeches and the cake cutting were over, it was clear that Kristin and Drew’s guests couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor! Kristin and Drew were right there with them to the very end of the night.
