Did we really have spring this year? I’ll never know. While I did see pretty blooms every where, I still sported a winter jacket and knee-high boots everywhere I went. In the week before Sarah and Rob’s wedding, we were keeping a close eye on the forecast. They were calling for, dare I say, a snow STORM! We couldn’t believe it. Thankfully, there was no such storm, just a beautiful overcast day for their spring wedding at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. Was it a bit chilly? Yes, but my goodness these two are troopers! If their engagement session last year taught me anything, it’s that these two are committed and totally down for whatever life throws at them.

I first met Sarah several years ago when I visited my best friend in college. She was so sweet and welcomed me to their home with open arms. I never in a million years thought I’d be photographing their wedding! Let me tell you, Sarah is quite the planner. She was on point with everything, down to the timeline and every last wedding detail. She sure made my job easy. I loved every bit of this wedding and now I get to show it all off, as it deserves.

Their families welcomed me into their family for the day and I felt very much at home. I cannot stress how wonderful that feeling is. Not only do we serve the bride and groom, but their families too. These are their babies, and their wedding day is something they look forward to from the moment they are born. You know these photographs are printed and framed throughout their homes, too. I absolutely adored Rob and Sarah’s families, and they were a complete joy to photograph as well.

This wedding will always be cherished as a fun celebration of the families becoming one. Congratulations again Rob and Sarah, and thank you for honoring me with capturing the happiest day of your life! Enjoy some favorites!
