I remember when Teresa moved to New Egypt. It was in grade school, we were young, but I still remember her being introduced as the new kid. I am SO glad I met her and became friends! Even when we both graduated and went out separate ways, it feels like nothing has changed! I went to Morgantown, WV for Teresa + Shane’s Cooper’s Rock engagement session this past fall. I didn’t know just how incredible it was going to be, but I’m so glad it happened.
Teresa attended West Virginia University and met her now fiance, Shane. They hit it off right away, and now in just a few short days, they’ll be getting married! I’m so excited to join them at Harvest View Barn at Hershey Farms and see my friend start her new chapter. I also find it super adorable that their dig is also named Hershey, and will be joining the celebration!
Cooper’s Rock is one of their favorite places in Morgantown. It’s a beautiful state forest overlooking stunning mountain views and the Cheat River. I really didn’t expect it to show off the way it did. Y’all, that sunlight is insane! I really could have stayed there all day and took it in. I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.
I’m photographing quite a few weddings this year for people I went to high school with. There’s really no greater honor than that. I always say it, but I never would have known I’d be photographing their weddings back then. I cry a little extra at these weddings. I’m literally seeing someone I grew up with start their new life with their person. Honestly though, how amazing is this job? Enjoy some favorites from their Cooper’s Rock engagement session!
