Lifestyle sessions in your home are my absolute favorite type of session for a number of reasons. They are completely personal to you and document the intimate details you share as a family. They also allow you to relax in the comfort of your own home and snuggle up with your loved ones. I’m so happy about this lifestyle in home newborn session with the Fox family! Our original plan was a beautiful maternity shoot at a local park, but baby Orion had other plans for his mama. After he arrived, we discussed doing an in home session, which came together perfectly!

I’ll never forget walking into this perfectly lit house! I geek out about good window light in houses, including my own. That’s another thing I adore about in home sessions. The light is very flattering and dramatic, and makes for stunning photographs! I tend to geek out over adorable nurseries too, just like this one for Orion. The stripe accent wall dotted with animal decor is perfect for a new baby boy nursery. Mamas always know how to make nurseries cozy and welcoming.

Morgan’s motherly glow radiates in every photograph from this session. Seriously, is she not one gorgeous mama? Her sons are perfect in every way, and I’m curious to see if Orion turns into a ball of energy like his big brother, Winston. His high energy antics had me feeling exhausted just watching him! However, that cute little face could melt anyone’s heart, and I know he’s already the best big brother there is. I have to hand it to Barbaros too for being one awesome dad for this session! He and Winston basically stole the show about halfway into shooting. Their tickle fights were too cute for words, and Winston kept coming back for more. They’re a perfect little family and I’m so thankful they trusted me with this session!
