If you’re like a lot of my wedding photography clients, you’re thinking about getting married in Asbury Park because you love its artsy charm. This city has everything you could want on your wedding day – colorful murals, the boardwalk, and unforgettable venues. These Asbury Park wedding venues are some of the best places to hold creative, memorable weddings.

As a New Jersey wedding photographer, these are some of my favorite Asbury Park wedding venues. All of them are within easy distance of the best photo locations on the boardwalk.
The Asbury Hotel is a favorite location for getting ready, but you can have your whole wedding here! You can hold your ceremony at Baronet, the rooftop terrace overlooking the shore. Alternatively, you can say your vows in the event tent which is then transformed into your reception space. With it being a large hotel, your guests can book a room here and easily head back to their room at the end of your wedding.

Even on rainy days, the hotel lobby itself is a great place for photos. The mid-century modern decor balances whimsical colors and refined furnishings. This hotel is ideal for marriers who want an all-in-one wedding venue.

Porta is one of the Asbury Park wedding venues that is also one of the town’s most beloved restaurants. Even more than its pizza, though, Porta is known for its funky Rococo decor. Paintings of woodland animals in formalwear line the walls. Their main event space, the Abbot Room, has a ceiling full of glittering disco balls that dazzle the entire room during dancing. You can hold both your ceremony and reception in this space. It also features an attached patio and a glass garage door that opens for a functioning cocktail hour bar.

This venue is ideal for people who want to dance at their wedding reception. In fact, the venue transforms into a nightclub after 9:00 p.m. You can stay put for your after party!

Cross and Orange is an upscale restaurant located in downtown Asbury Park. It has capacity for up to 200 guests in the beautifully decorated interior. If you’re looking for a place to host an intimate dinner party reception, though, this is a good choice. They hold both the ceremony and reception on site, have an outdoor space, and are wheelchair accessible.
Watermark is one of my favorite Asbury Park wedding venues for creative event design. There’s a small terrace, but you can hold all of your events inside. A wall of windows gives you a beautiful view of the beach year-round. They offer receptions during the off season which is September through May.

For your ceremony and cocktail hour, guests can do a mix of sitting and standing. The multi-level space provides a good view and opportunities to mingle. Watermark is one of the few venues that gives you the option for a cocktail-style reception over a seated dinner.

What do you get when you put a bowling alley, diner, and concert venue together? Asbury Lanes! This wedding venue feels modern and gritty. It’s great for couples who love Asbury Park for its vibrant music scene. Everything about this space is unique and creates a retro and one-of-a-kind-atmosphere for your celebration!
Tim McLoone’s Supper Club is located right on the boardwalk and is one of the best venues in Asbury! The 360 reception space is made of wall to wall windows, letting in tons of natural light and giving you a beautiful view of the ocean. It also has one of the most unique ceremony spots of all the Asbury Park wedding venues. If opting for an indoor ceremony, you can have your ceremony against their wall of stars. It looks like you’re getting married with the night sky behind you. It’s makes for really fun photos!
You can also have your ceremony on the beach right outside of Tim McLoone’s. Either way, they have you covered

The Berkeley is a stunning oceanfront hotel with multiple ballrooms to select for your wedding. This huge hotel gives you access to a rooftop for your ceremony and a beautiful stretch of beach for breezy romantic photos. The Berkeley’s interiors are so elegant, too. Palm Court is the hotel’s most iconic room. Its floor to ceiling windows let sunlight in to illuminate the checkered floors and baby grand piano. This venue is ideal if you want to level up your Asbury Park wedding experience.
If you want to go with a more laidback option, they also offer weddings at the Berkeley Backyard. It’s the hotel’s main restaurant that can be rented out and features an open air vibe with views of Convention Hall and the boardwalk.
The St. Laurent Social Club is a luxury, boutique hotel just a few blocks from the beach in Asbury Park. It offers a chic and elegant space for your wedding. Depending on your guest count, you can host your ceremony indoors or outdoors. Cocktail hour can be open air with their indoor and outdoor space leading into the lawn where the pool is. With their dedication to fine dining, you can expect farm fresh ingredients, innovative dishes, and an overall elevated dining experience.

Was this list of Asbury Park wedding venues helpful? If you couldn’t tell by now, I love photographing weddings in Asbury Park. It’s such a fun, funky town that showcases the best things about the Jersey Shore.
